Meh, deals in general were really weak this year. Probably because they know people are going to spend due to being cooped up. GPU drought is horrid still ended up just paying for a used 1080Ti sub-400 on ebay for my new PC.

@Bizmee Want to put together a pc for gaming that runs at a good fps but not in a rush to do it. I’m willing to wait until prices on cpus and gpus normalize but wanted to start picking up some things now. Want it to be upgradable for the future. Was looking to go with a x570 mobo so that it’s upgradable for future cpus but if I find a cheap 2600 in the future it would work with that to. So basically looking for deals that would work with a build based on that thought process.

Thank you. Hopefully the new GPUs will be available by March 2021. If they wait too long in 2021 before becoming available I might just wait on cards that will release in 2022. There are no outstanding 4K gaming cards in the new models. Have a 4K 120Hz monitor? Good luck running games like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 at 120 FPS 4K.

I couldn't even get a good price on an nvme ssd here in the UK when on prime day they went as low as £76 for 1TB. Didnt find sales on LG older oled TVs too. Guess i'll hope cyber monday has something to offer but it might be a sign telling me to save my money because its not worth wasting it.

You act like the influencers have any say over production numbers or the actions of people using bots to make a profit. If you want to continue to sulk in your "crappy Christmas" feelings, direct your anger toward Nvidia/board partners/stores for not having protections against bots or Nvidia for not producing enough during a global pandemic. Or better yet, grow up, get over yourself, and wait like anyone else. :)

You are sorely mistaken if you think the reviewers have anything to do with the problem. Blame the manufacturer and suppliers or even bots. The amount of cards that get sent to reviewers is a tiny % of cards and would make no difference in overall availability if they didn't get them. Lastely, I don't know about you but I like to know how a card actually performs before I buy it sooo It is kind of helpful for the reviewers to get them first....

I got the 9900K for $320 for black friday on Amazon though your link, thought it was very good deal. Actually really wanted this cpu when I built my (Current) PC last year but was too expensive, so settled on an 8086K which served me very well. I know the difference wont be too noticeable in gaming, but will be in other tasks paired with my trusty wallet ripping 2080Ti that I purchased last year. I think both monitors you recommended are 60hz, just wanted to mention that. I’ve been looking at 1440p 144hz monitors for a couple months now and the deals seem to be worse now than when I started looking.

Check out the GIGABYTE G34WQC 34", I got the Asus version of this panel because the Gigabyte one was sold out but it is a rocking deal at $400 on Newegg. 3440x1440 144Hz and has FreeSync but also works with GSync.

Be careful with the evga supernova. People in the buildapcsales subreddit are saying that it has issues with the rtx 3080 and 3070 when you pair it with a high end cpu.

X570 will need an update. There will be an update to allow 5000 series support on 400 series boards, but that is not available until January. There is not a new motherboard generation for these CPUs. The 600 series chipset will likely comes with the AM4+/AM5 socket on the 6000 series chips.
